Become the top gardener in the empire by planting, irrigating, and growing delicious bamboo in this exciting game called Takenoko. You have been summoned by the Japanese emperor to compete for the prestigious task of caring for his sacred panda. However, to win this challenge, you must grow the best plots of bamboo that will satisfy the emperor's picky animal.

Develop a bamboo forest around the emperor's pond, cultivate and irrigate your plots to grow different types of bamboo that the panda will love. To get ahead of your rivals, you can improve your plots by building irrigation channels or adding fertilizer to speed up the growth of your bamboo. You also have to hope for favorable weather conditions.

The game features simple and tactical gameplay inspired by the award-winning board game Takenoko by Antoine Bauza. It is suitable for 1 to 4 players and can be played in single-player mode against the computer or against friends and other players around the world in local or online multiplayer.

For more exciting objectives and a new plot of land, purchase the Chibis extension pack in the game shop. It introduces new objectives and features Miss Panda and her adorable babies.
