Stick Vault Hero is a trendy and dynamic pixelated/retro styled, casual game that requires only one touch to play. Control your Hero and guide him through a wall gap by pole vaulting with a stick. Before pressing down the screen, you need to analyze the vertical distance that you need in order to clear the wall.
To get you started, you have 5 free lives, however, the "REPLAY" option on the "Game Over" screen provides endless amounts of playtime. Additionally, there are 20 coins required for the "Continue" button, but you can always "Give Up" and restart a level or watch an ad to keep playing without any consequences.
Travel through 5 different continents, starting in San Francisco and ending in Rio de Janeiro by earning medals, which will unlock more destinations to explore. These continents are easily identifiable with their unique ground colors. As you progress through the game, you'll earn coins that can be used to customize your hero's look with a variety of accessories and different head bands that correspond with your avatar's ethnicity. Coins can also be picked up during game play.
Stick Vault Hero has a unique style with a pixelated/retro backdrop as you progress through 11-26 sub-levels of major cities within each continent, switching from morning to afternoon to night and back to morning. A simplified map of each continent tracks your progress and the cities that you've earned medals in.
Power-ups also are available to help you progress through levels. These include a "Bigger Opening" to make the gap larger, "Slower Stick" to make the pole expand and contract slower, and a "Shorter Level" option that allows you to win Olympic medals in less attempts.
There are 32 achievements for you to conquer, including "Casual Jumper," "Coin Collector," "Pole Vaulter," and "World Leader," each with its own unique victory requirements. Compete with friends on Facebook and Google by sharing your scores and customized avatars.
Beta testers have declared Stick Vault Hero highly addictive, so be prepared to spend hours trying to beat it!
