This app provides the opportunity to improve scripture knowledge in a fun and easy manner.
The app allows users to choose the level of difficulty, this determines the number of hidden words in the scriptures.
The selection of scriptures is simplified by first choosing the book or reference from the Old Testament, New Testament or Triple Combination. The scripture reference can be directly chosen from the 100 Scripture Mastery references or from your personal Favorites list. The user may also want to try a random verse in a given book or chapter, thus entering only D&C would result in a randomly selected verse found in all of the D&C sections. An entry of Isaiah 53 would result in a randomly chosen verse within Isaiah 53.
After the reference is chosen the scripture can be displayed for review before trying to find all of the hidden words. This is also when the reference can be added or removed from the Favorites. Two methods of finding the hidden words is offered, selecting from words or spelling the hidden word.
The user is then shown the scripture with the hidden words represented with a sequence of colored x's, each x representing a letter in the hidden word. The hidden word is selected by touching it. After the correct word is entered, the next hidden word is selected automatically, this can always be overridden by touching any hidden word. The spelling option is more challenging as the keyboard has extra letters that are not in the hidden word, extra letters are added for small and medium sized words. The words and letters may be used more than once.
The app tracks the number of scriptures completed, and also the the number of consecutive days used. These numbers are shown on the home screen.
The app doesn't require WIFI or special permissions to use. The app is free with no advertising.
