Many BSL learners pick up the alphabet fairly easily, but find that their receptive skills are lacking when they converse with a Deaf person.
This can be frustrating for both the learner and their conversation partner. This app was designed for both those with little to no knowledge of the ASL fingerspelling alphabet and for those who need practice with rapidly fingerspelled words. Use the Learn page to reference the handshapes that correspond to each letter. Use the Letter Game to quiz yourself on the letters.
