In a world devastated and inhabited solely by machines, the introverted robot Horatio embarks on a quest to unravel the truth behind his existence. His quest for answers prompts questions such as where he originated, what became of the human race, and his place in the apocalyptic world. Horatio's serene existence is interrupted when his peaceful world is shattered after he is separated from his airship, the UNIIC, and enslavers steal their power core. To recover their stolen vital energy source, Horatio and his witty partner Crispin must journey to the center of Metropolis, a city of light and glass. However, this excursion uncovers a shocking secret that changes not only their perception of the world, but also their role in it. The game's voice acting is superb, with Logan Cunningham (famous for voicing Bastion) providing the voice over for Horatio.
