Game overview

PopCorn is a remake of a well known PC brick breaker game from 1988.

Use your bat against a bouncing ball to destroy all the bricks on screen.

In 1988 PC's game graphic mode was limited to 320x200 pixels with only 4 colors and a very little palette choice. PopCorn 1988 tries to recreate this former look & feel.

Sounds were also very limited, just a speaker driven with 0 and 1. No digitalized sounds, no dedicated hardware chip. You can choose to use the original sounds from 1988 or a new set of sounds to better enjoy its ethernal efficient gameplay.

The game works in landscape and portrait mode:

Landscape: Control the bat dragging it on the game board or use your thumb on the score panel. You can choose right handed or left handed layout.

Portait: Adapted layout to enjoy a full screen game board and a more convinient control touch zone.

Touch the top half part of the screen to pause the game.
