Game overview
With this project, we want to enable both immigrants and the host community to create social cohesion channels through the mobile application and to play games by seeing the city as a playground and using public and community spaces freely, leading to active participation.
The aim of the game is to create opportunities for young people to socialize, spend time together and adapt to city life through culture-arts, sports and historical routes. In addition, it is aimed to increase the mental well-being of young people in social gatherings.
Let's Play Together Game opens up a space for young people to socialize and enjoy the city's mysterious ancient sites and beauties waiting to be discovered, and to actively participate in city life.
The game is played with teams of 5-6 people on the route that starts in Istanbul Galata location. Teams are expected to complete the tasks of the game, including exploration and socialization, within the specified time. A phone with the game application installed is sufficient for each team to follow the game instructions. Players must complete the task in the app to receive the new game directive. The game is played by following the marked route on the map within the application. Teams decide for themselves at what point they want to complete the task. It is aimed that teams follow the route randomly and complete the tasks at all points. At each selected point, an information and at least one task instruction is opened, respectively.
