PAC-MAN has never been more competitive: bright visuals, fast rounds and instant arcade action are built for head-to-head play. It's easy to pick up, but once the maze gets crowded, the action heats up quickly.

In the four-player Battle Arena, you have to race rivals and dodge ghosts simultaneously. Be the first to grab a Power Pellet to trigger a random boost – from classic energisers to wild effects like lasers, electric fields and even airstrikes. One good pickup can change the whole match.

The more Pac-Men get eaten, the more ghosts appear looking for revenge. Watch out for Itchy, a special ghost that hits you with nasty random debuffs on contact. Got turned into a ghost yourself? You're not out – hunt down another Pac-Man to get back in the game!

You can play online with friends, or connect four controllers to one Apple device for local multiplayer chaos.

If nobody wins quickly enough, the 256 glitch kicks in: the maze starts to break down and the safe zone shrinks until only one Pac-Man survives.

More modes and new mazes will be released over time, so the competition will always be fresh. Classic Pac-Man, party style!
