Game overview

The Molecular Games are a series of puzzles and questions you will have to solve using your knowledge of Molecular Biology.

It is a fun way to learn or refresh your knowledge about DNA structure and function. To be able to solve the questions you will have to enter into biomedical databases and read articles like a professional molecular biologist, but we will help you all the way through.

This edition of the Molecular Games consists of four successive games and it focuses on a specific human gene you will have to discover. At the end of the game, you will learn about a specific mutation in this gene that leads to dramatic effects.

By getting the correct answers to the questions and enigmas, you will get points. Get the maximum score and you will be nominated for the first Nobel Prize in Molecular Biology!

These games are aimed at undergraduate students of Biology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering and related courses.

Molecular Games is an application developed at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Barcelona with the support of RIMDA within the framework of the UB mobility project.
