Kronespillet, also called Kronesautomaten, simulates the popular norwegian slot machine.
It was first introduced in 1937 by the Red Cross, and became very popular in the 80's and the 90's.
In Finland the game is called Payazzo (or Pajatso or Jasso), and was introduced in the 1920's.
The object is to flick a coin into one of the winning slots. When the attempt is successful, you win coins. If the attempt is unsuccessful, you lose the flicked coin.
