Game overview
For 1-4 players, this mini quiz game reinforces basic grammar (focus on past tense and irregular verbs) the vocabulary of holiday; to achieve a high score a little general knowledge is also required.
In a fun format there are 4 levels of difficulty and several question varieties. Designed for all those at Elementary levels of English (but also a good revision for those at higher levels), this is a game I created for my students in Hanoi; they enjoyed it so much I thought I would put it out there for teachers and students alike. Students will be able to play it to deepen and reinforce their knowledge of A1-A2 grammar while teachers can use it as a light-hearted and fun diversion in their classes.
The whole quiz shouldn’t takes less than 30 minutes.
• Listen to the audio or read the text and select the correct answer.
• You have 15 seconds to answer each question.
• Answer the questions as fast as you can otherwise you lose points.
