Hope is a puzzle and platformer game that aims to encourage players to connect with their emotions and learn from their errors. With its motivational phrases and challenging gameplay, Hope seeks to inspire players to be more confident and to approach obstacles in a new, more positive manner. In Hope, players control a simple square as it navigates through numerous puzzle levels. By using Hope's unique three-step game mechanic, players can create blocks to help them avoid obstacles and progress to the next level.

Step one involves intentionally making a mistake in the game, which then creates a block in the spot where the mistake was made. The block only appears if the obstacle that caused the error is marked in white. If the obstacle is not marked, then step one doesn't work and the game moves straight to step two.

In step two, the player repeats the level, this time with a block in a more advantageous position, allowing them to more easily progress.

Finally, in step three, the player is given the option to remove the last block created, in case it was not placed in the most helpful location.

Hope was inspired by games like Neon Depth and Geometry Dash, but it stands out as a unique experience. With its focus on emotional and cognitive growth, it encourages players to learn from their mistakes and strive for success.
