Hall of the Art Thieves

The Thief's Castle, also known as Château du Voleur, once housed notable works of art, including "Girl with a Pearl Earring", "The Scream", and "Nighthawks," but all of these precious pieces were stolen by a group of thieves during a fierce storm on August 9, 1793. However, after over two centuries, the authorities have recovered all the stolen artworks and returned them to their original museums and galleries. The château has been abandoned ever since, and the spirits of the thieves who once stayed in its dungeon still linger within the castle walls. To become the ultimate Art Historian, your mission is to penetrate the château, accumulate wealth, and retrieve all the original works of art that adorned the castle before. You will encounter more than 90 paintings and sculptures from various periods in art history and 30 different artists to learn about as you progress from Art Student to Art Historian. The castle has six floors, each holding five rooms that are swarmed by the ghosts of the thieves, who will attempt to rob you of your hard-earned wealth. Furthermore, the game will send a monthly newsletter utilizing your email address (with approval from the player) that will provide scores, pointers, and hints to aid you on your quest. Lastly, the Second Floor Studio features art pieces from emerging artists that you might find appealing.
