Explorística 2.0 is an initiative of Statistics Portugal, aiming to bring to the educational communities the fundamentals of statistics and probabilities (with a focus on sampling), conveying the concepts in a practical and experimental way.
Explorística 2.0 integrates several games, each one involving activities such as selecting, collecting, describing and estimating.
Dr. Odd – Dr. Odd was murdered in your mansion. Five weapons, which must be discovered, may have been used in this crime; on the other hand, there are six suspects of having committed the murder. Knowing the odds that each of the weapons is the murder weapon and that each suspect has used each of the weapons, players should calculate which of the suspects is most likely to be the criminal.
