You must make every launch, wall jump, and slam jump count as one wrong move sends you back to the very beginning. With multiple game modes, you can choose your level of difficulty and take on the challenge to climb to the top. You'll encounter high risk launches that offer no turning back once you make your move, intense wall jumps that may cause you to lose control and regret, and hair raising slam jumps that could mean the difference between climbing higher or starting from scratch. Featuring beautiful 8-bit retrowave art and addictive synthwave tracks, the game has 8 unique levels to explore with secret collectibles to find, NPCs with questionable advice and occasionally a bully attitude, and full gamepad/controller support. Don't Byte Your Tongue offers four game modes: KiloByte, MegaByte, GigaByte, and TeraByte. KiloByte is the original mode, with the challenge of climbing to the top. MegaByte adds a timer and danger zone which moves to the location of the last landing, making it harder to beat the clock. GigaByte takes it a step further with the risk of losing all progress if the timer hits zero, making every move precious. TeraByte is the ultimate challenge, with less time to escape and the danger zone randomly changing from red to purple, inverting your launch controls.
