Set in a time where the existence of gods, also known as Grimoas, have become obsolete, Eil, the protagonist of the game, is undergoing a crucial Coming-of-Age ritual performed by the Priest of his town when a demon suddenly attacks his village, engulfing it in flames. Amidst this chaos, Eil makes a pact with Nogard, the Air Grimoa, to save the town residents.
