Alfabet Letter Natuur is the first Afrikaans app that is designed to help children learn literature as presented in schools.
Level one, for pupils in Grade R to Grade 1, will help them pronounce each letter of the alphabet by hearing the proper pronunciation as taught by school teachers. Even younger children may play it towards preparation for school.
This App contains the correct font, as used in their foundational learning phase, and is not only for children to learn the alphabet sounds but also forms part of learning to read the letters and writing.
The alphabetical flashcards contain a letter sound, 1-3 sample words, and each word used in an appropriate example sentence (represented in a picture).
A small game is also included that will help the student identify each letter.
Depending on the interest in this application, we will continue development of further levels and Afrikaans educational games.
