My take on a well known game with a couple of twists:
- a limited view range which expands briefly when the bat is moving upwards
- several lives, not just one, with the ability to gain more at every 15 points- dynamic difficulty - the higher the score, the more the gap shrinks and then it gets placed further away vertically from the previous one, leading to the need to lose or gain a lot of altitude after an obstacle.

The initial concept is using 2d lights and particles to see the obstacles, but the framerate is too low for it to be playable. With a few workarounds which I'll describe on my website, this is now in a state that's ready to be released, as I can then get back to optimizing afterwards.
