Gather power-ups to acquire supplementary assistance such as a continuous particle laser, an A.I. companion, enhanced jumping abilities, or additional lives. You have the option to deactivate them if you change your mind. More power-ups can be obtained through in-app purchases.

Customization options encompass control preferences, music selections, and sound effects adjustments. Prior to critiquing the controls, experiment with them for a while to determine your preferred settings. Test out various control sizes as well. Gamepad compatibility is present and has been tested with various controllers including PS3, Nyko Bluetooth, and NVIDIA SHIELD using the Sixaxis controller app.

Upon launching the game for the first time, control options are preset based on your device specifications. When a gamepad is detected, controls are concealed, and fullscreen mode is activated where applicable. Key mappings can be configured in the control settings. Analog joystick support is available for gamepad movement.

Touch control varieties:

Multi-touch swipe:

Swipe left and right in the lower screen section to maneuver the blaster. Shooting, jumping, and superzap actions are assigned to the buttons on the right side. This is the default setting for devices with genuine multi-touch capability.

Dual-touch swipe:

Similar to multi-touch swipe, but tailored for devices lacking genuine multi-touch functionality. Swipe left and right in the lower screen section to move the blaster and simultaneously shoot, while swiping up triggers jumping. The right-side buttons are allocated for superzap. This is the default setting for devices without legitimate multi-touch capability.

Single-touch arrows:

Designed for devices without multi-touch functionality. Controlled with a single finger, typically the thumb. Moving is facilitated by the side arrows while shooting. The up arrow area enables movement, shooting, and jumping when applicable. The top area activates superzap. The central area remains stationary, with movement speed increasing towards the arrow edges.

Multi-touch arrows:

Suitable for devices with multi-touch capacity. The left side mirrors the single-touch arrows for movement, while the right side buttons manage shooting, jumping, and superzap functions. This control scheme integrates seamlessly with the touch-emulated Sixaxis controller.

Multi-touch circular:

Rotate around the circular control on the left side using your finger. The right side buttons are dedicated to shooting, jumping, and superzap actions.

For devices with soft keys, real fullscreen mode can be activated. Note that this feature is incompatible with touch controls, only functioning with a keyboard or gamepad.

Enhanced performance could be achieved on older devices by muting the sound effects or opting for lower graphics details for smoother operation on low-end devices.

Due to copyright constraints, the original soundtrack from Tempest 2000 is omitted from the game; however, it can be conveniently downloaded through the settings. Alternatively, players can select a different music option.

Feedback, bug reports, and suggestions are welcomed via email or Google+. Consider supporting the developer by purchasing the full version, providing a positive rating, and recommending the game to your acquaintances.
