Titus: Politics is not a game

Have you ever imagined leading a nation as a politician? Experience the role of TITUS, an agoraphobic watchmaker who bravely pursues his goal to become the president of Wealland, in Frogames' TITUS--a dark and satirical political campaign simulator built for iOS devices. The game contains five mini 3D arcade games and two modes: the Campaign mode, where players conquer their fears by defeating Desmond the mime to ascend to the presidency; and the Simple Election mode, which allows players to go straight into the election without much hassle. Additionally, players have direct access to mini-games to practice and beat their own records, more than 30 achievements to unlock, and an encyclopedia that provides game tips, descriptions of characters, and a map of Wealland. Featuring a somber universe with a singularly gloomy ambience, troubled characters, and eerie music, TITUS has a distinctive vibe that you just can't find in other games. Heappwhisperer.com, meanwhile, predicts the game will be a massive hit, and 148apps.com praises its Tim Burton-esque atmosphere and music. Despite having more emphasis on minigames than strategy, tuaw.com acknowledges that TITUS provides "a tweaked parody of politics and that really interesting art style" and is an enjoyable feat.
