Neonimo is an exhilarating real-time strategy game that challenges players to outsmart each other using their wits and quick reflexes. Utilizing tetrominoes to build a path that leads to their opponent's base, players embark on a tactical journey filled with exciting twists and turns. The game requires a multitude of strategic choices, requiring players to carefully consider economic buildings, territorial claims, and technology expansions to stay ahead of their opponents. Its simplistic interface makes it accessible to players of all ages giving them a chance to hone their strategic skills in fast-paced, engaging gameplay sessions that last less than five minutes. Unlike most strategy games, Neonimo straddles between real-time and turn-based, giving the players ample time at the beginning to plan their moves before the gameplay starts to heat up and moves become faster-paced. Players can explore various options for playing the game by trying out the four different modes available. Versus mode lets them challenge their friends to an exhilarating match locally. Challenge mode provides multiple tough rounds against an increasingly intelligent AI. Dungeon Run mode allows players to play against AI in multiple matches, with each win earning them new technology. Practice mode lets novices jump right in and play on their own while Tutorial mode sets up small introductory matches explaining all the basics. To add to the excitement, there's a responsive soundtrack in sync with the pace of each match, ensuring an immersive gaming experience. Neonimo is designed by Scott Hoffer, with Ben Costrell and Chris Williams taking care of programming and design, while Jack Schlesinger handles audio and programming. Edanur Kuntman rounds it off with her artistic talent.
