D&D Lords of Waterdeep

Lords of Waterdeep is the winner of numerous Dungeons & Dragons awards and an exciting turn-based strategy game available on all iOS platforms. It features a cross-platform online play which allows gamers to join their friends across other platforms. With an in-game chat feature, players can stay connected while indulging in this addictive gameplay. You will be transported to the city of Waterdeep, a beautiful land ruled by masked Lords who use sneaky backdoor deals and political power to control the city.

In Lords of Waterdeep, players will assume the role of these masked rulers whose ultimate objective is to hire adventurers to take on quests. The more quests you accomplish, the greater your dominance and influence over the city. Building construction is essential to expand the city that opens up new possibilities for players. Intrigue cards can be used to manipulate the gameplay and other players, adding a thrilling twist to the game.

This turn-based strategy game is played over eight rounds and can be enjoyed against AI or with up to five human players. The gameplay revolves around the resource allocation and utilizing agents in buying new buildings or hiring adventurers. Points and resources are earned for completing quests, playing Intrigue cards, constructing buildings or having fellow players utilize the buildings constructed by you. The player with the most points at the end wins.

Lords of Waterdeep comes with an array of features, including AI opponents, pass-and-play multiplayer, and asynchronous multiplayer online play. Additional elements include online game clocks, online tutorial, Rule Book and Card Gallery, Player ratings system, and animated backgrounds. Players can invite Playdek friends to join online matches privately or publicly. To be eligible for online play, players must have an internet connection and a Playdek account.

This captivating game can be played by two to five players with an option to expand players to six with the Scoundrels of Skullport or Undermountain expansions. The game's Retina support and universal game application allow players to enjoy outstanding graphics and smooth gameplay experience on any device.
