Upon starting the game, it will require downloading data from the internet, so it's essential to have a stable connection and enough space on your device. The game also requires good hardware to function smoothly, with at least 800x480 screen resolution, 512 MB RAM, and a powerful CPU suggested. While trackball and hardware keyboard will aid in ease of interaction, they are not necessary to play the game. The game data files, downloadable on starting the game, are separated into core, music, campaign, and translation files. So if you prefer not to download music files and only play single scenarios against the AI or another player, you can save 140MB of download and memory. The 89MB core download offers the ability to download extras from the official server, play network games, and much more. Please note that this port does not include server mode, so you cannot host network games with this software, but you can connect to one hosted elsewhere. A word of caution for players with a high DPI value; the game fonts may appear small to read. Fix this by selecting "Startup options" from the pop-up that appears for some seconds on startup after clicking the "Change Configuration" button. Then tick the "Set custom display resolution," leaving the default values (Width: 800, Height: 480).
