Niffelheim

In Niffelheim, your protagonist, a valiant warrior, lies trapped after falling in battle. The underworld is fraught with danger and challenges, but if you survive and plunder your neighboring lands, you might earn your passage to Valhalla. Death has not dulled your warrior spirit, and you must venture deep into the hostile territory of Niffelheim with sufficient provisions, fortifications, and the intent to solve its mysteries.

As you progress, you will discover that falling is not an option. You must mercilessly strike down anyone who dares to threaten your lands and add their bones, fur, and teeth to your inventory of weapons and armor. A mighty fortress will offer you protection and help you vanquish any enemy that comes your way. But beware, the Death Priests have their own orders and minions to carry them out. Would you submit to their ultimatums or rise against them in a fight to the death?

Your main goal is to leave Niffelheim for Asgard by collecting and piecing together the portal fragments. But these pieces are jealously guarded by brutal giants, undead creatures, and lethal spiders, each endowed with deadly powers.

Your survival also depends on crafting various potions using mushrooms and slain beasts, and cooking mouth-watering dishes to feed your friends or even brewing poison that can lay low the mightiest of trolls. As you explore ancient caverns, you will discover powerful artifacts that will give you an edge over your foes in the final battle. It is time to explore the underworld, explore its dark secrets and pave the path to your redemption in the afterlife.
